August Already
starting again with blogging. Not very good at staying up with it obviously.
I'm still papercrafting. Haven't done a lot this summer, but did a couple of cute projects. Here is one...I'm too tired right now to remember the products used, but it's a cute hedgehog stamp colored with copic markers. I will look up the stamp name and paper tomorrow:
However, the thing taking up most of my time is couponing. I am not an extreme couponer, however I don't go shopping without checking for sales and coupons first. It's amazing what you can save. My last two trips to the grochery store I save over $150 including store loyalty discounts, sales and coupons. Definitely worth spending the time looking for the coupons!
Plus we are now in the get ready for back to school and college mode. In addition to the knee surgery my son is having a week and a 1/2 prior to the check in day at school...and my parents coming for a 2 week visit. I should be ready for a vacation from my up coming vacation.

Paper crafts it is!
Ok..decided to continue posting my paper crafts, and next weekend, I will be going to a crop and working on a project that I have had in mind for a couple of weeks...thanks to one of my craft magazines....so...hopefully I will have some pictures to post next week!
once I finish the project I hope to work on cards. time to go back to being creative and using all the wonderful supplies I have collected over the past few years. Stay tuned...

Ok...I took a year off...now what
I have this blog spot...but have not updated in a year...so I guess I should figure out what I want to do...continue with my scrapbooking posts or so something new with it. Whatever I do, it needs to be more consistent.
So for this one, I think I will list somethings I am thankful for as I look back on this year:
My Girlfriends...for being there when I needed you, for making me laugh, for going on vacations with.
My kids: both are smart, healthy, considerate people. I think I did a good job with raising them. Can't wait to see what the future holds.
My parents for the never ending love and support.
I'm also thankful that I have a job and a house.
My pets Bella and Pepper, for keeping me amused and for snuggling...when they are in the mood.
My health, so far so good.

Happy New Year!
I don't know about you, but I find that December always flies by....and I'm left wondering where the time went! I was going to post a picture of my Christmas cards from this year, however, it appears I didn't take a photo of them... and they came out so good! oh well...next year...
I've already starting buying paper for next year's card...or should I say this year? Anyway...my goal is to start on them by summer...and have them done by fall, so that I'm not rushing around to finish them at the last minute!
This month is National Papercrafting Month, and to honor the month, CTMH has a special package that includes papers and a stamp set, that you really should check out! I can't wait to get one of the kits for myself, as I really LOVE it! check it out at my website memryscrpr.myctmh.com This kit is available through the end of January only.

Where does the time go?
Just realized I haven't posted in almost a month! I've been caught up in facebook and the holidays and next thing I knew, a month has gone by. Tomorrow is the annual Holiday show at the rink. Will be fun to see all the kids doing their holiday skating programs.
